Shire supported events happening this month

It doesn’t get much better than summer in the Shire of Augusta-Margaret River. And when you’re not enjoying our stunning natural environment, there’s no shortage of events to enjoy.

From major events like the 2026 Toyota Australian Country Cricket Championships, bringing Australia’s best country cricketers to the South West, to much-loved community favourites such as the Margaret River Ocean Swim, Arts Margaret River Augusta Sundowner, and the Augusta Art Club’s 58th Annual Exhibition, there’s something for everyone.

We’re so proud to support these diverse events which connect, strengthen and celebrate our unique community, while supporting local businesses. Check out the full list below!

There’s also plenty happening at our local libraries to keep kids entertained during the school holidays, along with an exciting line-up of film screenings, performances and exhibitions at Margaret River HEART | Nala Bardip Mia.
