Sport and Recreation Centres

The Shire has two sports and recreation centres: the Augusta Recreation Centre and the Margaret River Recreation Centre. 

Augusta Recreation Centre

The Augusta Recreation Centre provides essential health and fitness facilities for the local community, including:

• Fully equipped gym
• Multi-purpose indoor court
• Hydrotherapy pool

Margaret River Recreation Centre

The Margaret River Recreation Centre offers a range of facilities and programs for the whole community, including:

• A 25-metre indoor swimming pool
• Fully equipped gym
• Group fitness classes
• Personal training
• Exercise physiologist services
• Three multi-purpose courts for basketball, netball, volleyball, indoor soccer, and badminton

Childcare Services

The Centre also provides:

• A crèche for gym users
• Before and after school care
• Holiday care programs
