The Margaret River Coastal Residents Association (MRCRA) work in various coastal locations between the Rivermouth and Boodjidup beach.
The focus of the group is on-ground work to protect and increase habitat. MRCRA approach this by rationalising pedestrian access to the coast, and by increasing biodiversity. This is done by removing invasive weeds and planting endemic species in their place. Brushing material is also used to protect the plants and delineate pathways.
MRCRA meets most Thursdays during school terms at 8.30 and work until 10am participants stop to share a morning tea. All are welcome to join.
