Help your children thrive  – online and offline

The Shire of Augusta Margaret River is pleased to host this FREE workshop to provide parents with the information, tools and strategies they need to help their children develop more resilience - online and offline.

Based on the latest research, Anke explains how resilience is built and what erodes it, both in real life and as part of children's online experiences. She provides parents with helpful strategies to keep their children safe and thriving in both worlds.

You'll learn
  • What builds resilience in children and what undermines it
  • How gaming, video shorts, AI companions & smartphones affect developing brains and resilience
  • Online risks and warning signs: what to watch for and how to talk to your kids
  • Screen agreements and daily habits that build resilience at home
Anke is known for her down-to-earth, realistic and warm approach, and the practical advice busy parents can implement straight away.
This program is proudly supported by the Shire of Augusta Margaret River through its Community Development and Events Grants, helping to support and empower our community.
