End of Life Matters is a four-part community information series presented by the Shire of Augusta Margaret River and Augusta Community Resource Centre to explore death dying and end-of-life planning.
As part of this series, aged care advocate, nurse, and educator Leisa Prangnell will present an informative session on Advance Care Planning.
Advance Care Planning is the process of planning for your current and future health care.
In this session, you'll discover what advance care planning involves, how to record your wishes, and why having conversations with your loved ones about your preferences is important.
All End of Life Matters sessions will be held at the Augusta Community Resource Centre (66 Allnut Terrace, Augusta) and include morning tea.
To RSVP, contact Community Development Officer Olivia Knowles via[email protected] or by calling 9780 5667.
The Shire notes that the sessions are intended for general information only, and attendees should seek professional advice relevant to their individual circumstances.
