End of Life Matters is a four-part community information series presented by the Shire of Augusta Margaret River and Augusta Community Resource Centre to explore death dying and end-of-life planning.
As part of this series, the WA Country Health Service (South West Regional Palliative Care Service) will present an informative session on Palliative Care
Palliative care can play an important role in improving quality of life for people living with a life-limiting illness, while supporting their families and carers.
The session will help demystify palliative care and provide practical information about the support and services available.
Whether you are planning ahead for yourself or supporting a loved one, this session will provide valuable information and an opportunity to ask questions in a supportive environment.
All End of Life Matters sessions will be held at the Augusta Community Resource Centre (66 Allnut Terrace, Augusta) and include morning tea.
To RSVP, contact Community Development Officer Olivia Knowles via[email protected] or by calling 9780 5667.
The Shire notes that the sessions are intended for general information only, and attendees should seek professional advice relevant to their individual circumstances.
