Gracetown Kite Festival

A spectacular celebration of colour, wind and wonder in the sky. 

The Gracetown Kite Festival is an annual event held on the last Sunday in November.  

This year's theme will be the Black Tailed cockatoo and will include workshops for painting tail feathers on black cockatoo cardboard puppets, followed by a puppet parade at 4pm.

Professional kite flyer Michael Alvarez will also be at the festival with a flotilla of kites and conduct kite making workshops with his wife Jan.

In addition to kites you can expect tunes from DJ Saramony, plus food trucks and creative stalls . 

Bring your friends and family to catch the sky ablaze with colour and creativity.
