Make comics with Aśka

Learn how to turn ideas into comics at a fun, hands-on visual storytelling workshop for ages 10+

Got a story in your head? Award-winning cartoonist and graphic novelist Aśka will show you how to bring it to life with pictures.

You will explore the nuts and bolts of sequential storytelling, the three-part story structure and some simple visual vocabulary. Starting with small ideas, you will learn how to plan and grow a story into something bigger.

No drawing experience is needed. This workshop is about using drawing as a language, not making perfect artwork. By the end, you will have made a bunch of comics and have plenty of ideas for more.
