Epic run along the Cape to Cape Trail
The Margaret River Ultra Marathon will return in 2027, offering trail runners an unforgettable journey through the forests, trails, beaches and bluffs of the stunning Cape to Cape coastline. Held over two days, the event features two distances
The 80km Ultra Marathon course (open to individuals and teams) starts on the white sands at Hamelin Bay and runs up the coast to finish at the iconic Howard Park winery at Wilyabrup.
The 42km Trail Marathon is starts at Yallingup in the north and running south to the same epic finish line on Sunday.

HOW TO ENTER
After selling out in record time for the past few years, event organisers Rapid Ascent are introducing an entry ballot for the Margaret River Ultra Marathon in 2027.
The new ballot system gives everyone an equal chance of securing a spot, and will be open from 9am Thursday 5 November until 11.59pm Sunday 8 November 2026.
