Applications for Major Events Grants are currently closed. 

The Shire is committed to supporting major events of State or National significance that attract visitors, generate economic activity, engage the community and promote the region through Major Events Grants. 

  • Applications for up to $27,500 per year (inc GST) will be considered. 
  • The first funding round opened in April 2022, for events taking place between 1 July 2022 and 30 June 2023. 
  • If the funding pool has not been exhausted, a second round will open in September 2022. 
  • Applications for multi-year funding up to three years will be considered.
