Getting plants in the ground is the easy part - successful revegetation projects starts with sound planning and preparation.
Lower Blackwood LCDC invite you to a full day workshop exploring the decisions and preparation that give your project the best chance of success.
From setting realistic goals and choosing suitable species to managing weeds, feral animals and erosion, we’ll work through what to consider before planting - and how to choose approaches that suit your site.
You'll spend the morning indoors, then visit a nearby farm where a revegetation project is being planned. Together, we’ll explore the site’s challenges and practical options, with plenty of time for questions.
Morning tea and lunch provided.
The Shire of Augusta Margaret River is proud to partner with the Lower Blackwood LCDC to promote sustainable agriculture.
