A pop-up festival of circus and music

For one night only, the grassed area outside the HEART will be transformed into a pop-up festival of cicrus and music. Part of  Arts Margaret Rivers' Sunday Sundowner sessions, this special event follows the Anne Shepherdson Courtyard Opening and will showcase some incredible local talent, including Natural Wings - a multi-award-winning Aerial-Dance-Theatre company.

Grab your friend, and bring a picnic for an evening to remember.

Please note:  The bar will be open, so BYO is not permitted, and under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

Program

5:30pm to 6:30pm -  Miss Red’s Circus Club

Accomplished street performer, musician, and circus artist Miss Red shares a range of circus skills with humour and flair, inviting all ages to join in, with plenty of laughter and inclusivity.

6:35pm to 7:05pm - Natural Wings

As the sun sets, Natural Wings’ Dawn Pascoe takes to the air with a show of aerial finesse, storytelling, and comedy that’s relatable, accessible, and fun for all ages. By then, the kids have burned off their energy and are ready to settle in. This performance is proudly supported  through our Community Development and Events Grant program,

7:10pm to 8pm - Tanya Ransom and Tilly Kay

As the stars appear, Tanya Ransom and Tilly Kay close the night with their beautiful harmonies and original songs—the kind of music that makes you pause and realise you’re witnessing something special. Having recently toured this program to remote stations in the Gascoyne, the team is ready to bring the magic home.

The Shire of Augusta Margaret River is proud to partner with Arts Margaret River to deliver programming at our premier arts & cultural venue, Margaret River HEART – Nala Bardip Mia, and we're delighted to support this event through our Community Development & Events Grants.
