Reflect on what river stewardship means at Nature Conservation’s River Stewardship Sundowner and Movie Night. 

Part of 2026 River Celebration Week, this inspiring evening includes a panel discussion and documentary screening of River. Written by Robert Macfarlane and narrated by Willem Dafoe, River explores the profound relationship between human civilisation and the world’s rivers in all their majesty and fragility.

Event schedule
6:00pm - Doors open. Complimentary drinks and canapes
6:30pm - Panel discussion (30 mins)
7:00pm - Short intermission (15 mins)
7:15pm - River film screening (70 mins), followed by time to mingle and chat
9:00pm - Doors close
