Practical tools & strategies to keep our kids safe online

Raising resilient children in the digital age is complex. Screens are now part of everyday life for both kids and adults - but managing them doesn’t have to feel like a constant battle.

Parenting coach and educator Anke Lasserre from Family in Flow will guide you through practical tools and strategies to help keep your children safe online, set healthy boundaries, and reduce friction at home.

This free workshop will cover:
  • What age is appropriate for smartphones, video shorts, chatbots, and online games - and how to delay access without the drama
  • How addictive design and AI companions impact developing brains, and what you can do about it
  • Online risks and warning signs, plus how to talk to your kids about them
  • Screen agreements that actually work with take-home tips and a ready-to-use template

You’ll leave with realistic, easy-to-apply strategies that support calmer routines, clearer boundaries, and more confident parenting in a digital world.

This program is proudly supported by the Shire of Augusta Margaret River through its Community Development and Events Grants, helping to support and empower our community.
