Household Hazardous Waste Drop Off Day

Safely dispose of your E-waste and Household Hazardous Waste for free on Saturday, 10 April 2021, between 9am and 1pm at the Margaret River Recreation Centre Carpark, 51 Wallcliffe Road.

Bulk Green Waste Disposal

Cowaramup Transfer Station
This transfer station will be open to the township and surrounding local community to dispose of bulk green waste from 8am to 2pm on the following dates in 2021:

6 February 2 October
1 May 4 December
7 August  

A maximum of 2 cubic metres will be accepted per property. Any other type of waste is required to be disposed of at the Davis Road Waste Management Facility in Witchcliffe.

Kudardup Transfer Station 
This transfer station will be open to the surrounding local community to dispose of bulk green waste from 8am to 2pm on the following dates in 2021:

30 January 25 Sepetmber
24 April 27 November
31 July  

A maximum of 2 cubic metres will be accepted per property. Any other type of waste is required to be disposed of at the Davis Road Waste Management Facility in Witchcliffe.

REDcycle 

Redcycle is an Australian company which recovers all of our soft plastic packaging that can't be recycled through the yellow lid bin.  REDcycle bins are provided at both Coles and Woolworths in Margaret River so bring your soft plastic packaging back to the source next time you do your shopping.

Containers for Change

Collect eligible containers and take them to a refund point to make cash from your containers or donate to a worthy local cause.

Most aluminium, glass, plastic, steel and liquid paperboard drink containers between 150ml and 3L are eligible.

Precious Plastics

Save your plastic bottle tops and lids and take them to a Precious Plastics drop off point at local supermarkets and schools. This innovative local group use bottle tops and turn them into surfboard fins, plant pots and more.
