About Lisa
Born and raised in regional WA, Lisa has lived in Cowaramup for nearly a decade. She is a small business owner, ratepayer, parent, basketball coach, volunteer and advocate for safer streets and responsible growth. Lisa currently runs a local gardening business, with a focus on using local plant species and sustainable horticultural practices.
Lisa has qualifications in horticulture and holds a Bachelor of Science. Before becoming a professional gardener, she worked in urban and regional planning for the State government. She hopes to help the Shire plan wisely for the future - meeting the needs of our community, whilst protecting what makes this place special.
Lisa’s priorities are transparent decision-making based on meaningful community engagement; safe, convenient paths and trails; supporting local businesses and recreational opportunities, environmental protection and sustainable housing.
