About the opportunity
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and passionate Customer Service Officers to join the team. Your time will be split between the Shire’s Administration Centres in Augusta and Margaret River. Reporting to the Team Leader Customer Services, you will be responsible for providing a professional initial point of contact for the Shire and processing Shire applications and Department of Transport transactions for customers.

- Continuing position with hours up to 38 per week available.
- Level 4 (full-time salary $71,869 - $79,349 per annum)

Customer Service Officer Position Description
The successful applicant will have:
- Previous experience in a multi-disciplinary front-line customer service environment
- Demonstrated data entry and keyboarding skills
- Competence in MS Office and financial/cash receipting programs
- High level of accuracy
An understanding of local government functions, accreditation as a Department of Transport Licensing Officer and working knowledge of Synergy software are desirable although not essential.
