About the opportunity

Would you enjoy a new challenge helping others succeed, undertaking a variety of hands-on practical jobs and working outdoors within the community?

Reporting to the Coordinator Operations, you will be responsible for leading the Assets Maintenance team, undertaking maintenance of road works, drainage and other civil works on the ground; responding to customer service queries and administration; and monitoring operating and capital expenditure. The role is truly diverse - you could be undertaking minor carpentry, painting, sign installation, high pressure cleaning or herbicide application (to name a few) to help maintain the Shire’s infrastructure.

Demonstrated experience of the above responsibilities within a busy works environment or similar is essential, with a lead-by-example approach and a desire to deliver the best outcomes for the community. If you’re looking for your next step in road and assets maintenance within the Shire, please get in touch.  We look forward to receiving your application.
