About Nick

Prior to being appointed to the Shire, Nick was the Global Head of Product for International Chamber of Commerce, in Paris.   He has been an Advisor at the Social Innovation Research Institute; worked at the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources to support the education sector; and worked for international NGOs to provide systems to best support humanitarian workers and volunteers, as well as projects to reduce civic, social and economic barriers to participation in society.  

Nick also co-founded The Development Circle to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across different sectors of the community to support innovation to assist with reaching the larger goals of sustainability, poverty alleviation and social justice.

Nick has a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil & Environmental) and a Public Leadership Credential from Harvard University.  He has served as a Volunteer Firefighter in Victoria, and recently served on the board of the Margaret River Business Network.
