2022/23 Holiday Season Office and Facilities Opening Hours

The Shire of Augusta Margaret River advises community members and visitors of reduced opening hours over the holiday season for the following offices and facilities:

Margaret River Civic Administration Centre and Augusta Office:

• CLOSED from 4pm on Friday 23 Dec 2022. Return to normal business hours on Tuesday 3 January 2023.

Depot:

• CLOSED from 4pm on Friday 23 December 2022 . Return to normal business hours on Tuesday 3 January 2023.

Libraries:

• Margaret River Library will be CLOSED from 3pm Friday 23 December OPEN again at 10am Tuesday 3rd January 2023.
• Augusta Library will be CLOSED from 4pm Thursday 22 December OPEN again at 10am Tuesday 3rd January 2023.

Margaret River HEART:

• CLOSED from 4pm on Friday 23 December 2022. Return to normal business hours on Tuesday 3 January 2023.

Margaret River Recreation Centre:

Operating Hours over holiday season:

• Friday 16 December 6am to 12 pm (CLOSED from 12pm Rec Centre Staff Party)
• Saturday 24 December 8am to 12pm (CIRCUIT and Virtual Classes)
• CLOSED Sunday 25 to Tuesday 27 December
• Wednesday 28 to Friday 30 December 6am to 6pm (classes as per timetable)
• Saturday 31 December 8am to 12pm (Virtual Classes only)
• CLOSED Sunday 1 January and Monday 2 January.
• Return to normal operating hours Tuesday 3 January.

Waste Facilities:

The Davis Road Recycling and Waste Management Facility and Rural Waste Transfer Stations are CLOSED on Christmas Day, 25 December 2022 and New Year’s Day, 1 January 2023. All other days, the Davis Road  facility and waste transfer stations will be open from 8am to 4pm.
 
Residents who have kerbside bin collections will have all three bins collected on their normal bin day from 26 December 2022 to 6 January 2023 to help with waste over the holidays. Please continue to reduce, reuse and recycle.
