Applications for the 2022 Volunteer and Youth Volunteer of the Year Awards have been extended! You now have until midnight on Sunday 20 November to recognise an outstanding community volunteer.

All nominees will be acknowledged with a Certificate of Appreciation at the Shire’s annual Thank a Volunteer Day Celebration on Thursday 8 December at Margaret River HEART, where the winners will be announced.

Volunteers enrich our community in many ways, spanning the arts and events, sports and wellbeing, environmental protection and much more. If you know someone who’s made a positive difference to the community, please download and complete a nomination form and return it to [email protected] so we can give them the recognition they deserve.

If you’d like more information, please contact Community Development Admin Officer, Shannon Walker on 08 9780 5233 or visit our volunteering page.
