The Shire of Augusta Margaret River will enter a Prohibited Burning Period from 12.01am Tuesday 23 December 2025.
 
Campfires, firepits and the burning of garden refuse piles are NOT allowed at any time or in any location.

Permits to Burn are cancelled.

Beach Access Remediation Works at Prevelly and Gnarabup

Beach Access Remediation Works at Prevelly and Gnarabup

Woodland Trails and Landscape, on behalf of the Shire, will be undertaking beach access remediation works from Thursday 12 January to Friday 20 January.

Access points identified for remediation include:
  • Gnarabup (2nd entry point)
  • Sewers (southern access)
  • Narda 

Works consist of minor reconstruction of existing beach stairs to improve usability. 

Each access point will be closed for a maximum of 3 days to allow works to occur. You will need to use alternative access points during this time.
