C2C MTB 2026 - road, trail and facility closures

Plan ahead during the Cape to Cape MTB

Cape to Cape MTB is Australia’s biggest and most popular multi-day mountain bike race, starting at Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse and finishing four days later at Cape Naturaliste.

To ensure the safety of riders, volunteers and spectators there will be some temporary road, trail and facility  closures across the region from Wednesday 14 October to Sunday 18 October 2026.

Local resident detours and access will be in place, so we kindly ask drivers to be patient and allow extra travel time, as there may be delays.

The full list of  closures is below or click this link to view the interactive road closure map. For more information, contact event organisers via [email protected] or (08) 6285 8551.

The Shire of Augusta Margaret River is proud to support this iconic event through our Major Events Grants Program to showcase our region, support local businesses and create memorable experiences for everyone.
