Calling on local businesses to get involved in Plastic Free July!

Plastic Free July is just around the corner, and we’re inviting local businesses to be part of a simple community effort to reduce single-use plastics

We’ll be encouraging residents to make small, practical swaps and we’d love to highlight businesses already doing great things in this space.

You might be a great fit if you:
 

• Offer BYO options (cups, containers, bags)
• Have refill stations
• Use low or plastic-free packaging
• Have any other innovative ideas or initiatives that help reduce single-use plastics

Ways to get involved include letting us know how your business supports plastic-free living, being featured in our Plastic Free July campaign, and the option to be included in Shire-purchased prize packs.

This is a great chance to showcase your business and connect with the community while supporting our Caring for Our Place initiative.
