Thinking about running for Council? Community members are invited to attend a Candidate Information Session on Wednesday 20 August, from 5pm to 5.45pm at the Council Chambers in Margaret River.
This session is designed to provide prospective candidates with a clear understanding of the role and responsibilities of an elected member, the nomination process and the impact Councillors can have on shaping the future of the Shire.There are five Council vacancies in this election, offering a significant opportunity for individuals passionate about their community to contribute to local decision-making and governance.
WALGA will be in attendance to present.
Nominations officially open on 28 August.
