Recruitment Process Advances

We're getting closer to welcoming a new CEO to guide the Shire of Augusta Margaret River into the future.

After receiving 143 applications in just two weeks, the top five candidates have been shortlisted and interviews will begin next week.

Interviews will be done by a selection panel made up of the Shire President, several councillors and an independent consultant. Their aim is to identify the candidate that is the best fit for our community - someone who is passionate, dedicated and understands the challenges facing our region.

We hope to have our new CEO on board sometime in June or July. We’ll keep you updated.
