Childhood immunisations

Childhood immunisations are a simple and effective way to protect children from serious diseases.

Through the National Immunisation Program, these vaccines are available free of charge and are recommended at key stages of early development: 6 weeks, 4 months, 6 months, 12 months, 18 months and 4 years.

In the Shire of Augusta Margaret River, families can book appointments at the Child Health Centre (located at the Margaret River Community Centre on select Tuesdays) or visit their local GP or pharmacy. Just call ahead to confirm availability.

Keeping our community protected and encouraging residents to stay up to date with vaccinations is a priority under the Shire’s Public Health Plan.
