Churchill Avenue drainage renewal and upgrade works

We’re upgrading the drainage along Churchill Avenue in Margaret River to address historic stormwater issues between Ned Higgins Lane and Bussell Highway

These works will redirect stormwater to protect this area during winter.

Works are planned to start the week of 20 April and will take around three weeks to complete.

Traffic and access changes
•    The eastbound lane of Churchill Avenue will be closed at the Bussell Highway roundabout for the duration of the works.
•    Access from Churchill Avenue into Ned Higgins Lane (north) will be closed, with controlled entry for essential deliveries were possible.
•    There will be a full closure (no vehicle access) to Ned Higgins Lane (north) for several days while the new kerb ramp is installed. 

Business impacts
Businesses in Ned Higgins Lane and nearby areas may need to adjust delivery schedules during the works. We’ll speak directly with affected businesses to help them plan ahead.
