Contribute to our Community Health and Wellbeing Strategy

We are committed to creating and maintaining a liveable, friendly, sustainable and safe community.
Our Public Health Plan 2020-2024 has come to an end, and we are working on developing a new one, which will take a holistic approach to health and be called a Community Health and Wellbeing Strategy.
We’re asking the community to let us know what they think should be included in the new strategy.
This Strategy will help guide how we support the health, wellbeing and quality of life of people in our community over the next five years.
It will recognise that health and wellbeing is shaped by many factors — including access to services, feeling connected and included, and opportunities for learning, employment and recreation.
The Strategy will meet legislative requirements as a Public Health Plan and will align with the Shire’s Strategic Community Plan and other informing plans and strategies.

Your input matters

Local knowledge and lived experience are essential in shaping a meaningful and effective strategy. Community feedback will help identify what is working well, where improvements are needed, and what matters most for health and wellbeing in our community.
We want to ensure that our programs, services, initiatives and partnerships are targeted and will meet the community’s needs.
Your input will be considered alongside existing data, research and stakeholder input to inform future priorities and actions.

Have your say

Share what matters most for health, connection and quality of life in our community.
Your feedback will directly shape our new Health and Wellbeing Strategy.
