Works are set to commence on the Cowaramup Hall Playground replacement.
The refreshed playground design will incorporate the following features:- Natural feature play elements (timber and stone) alongside the multi-play units suitable for children of all ages.
- Slides, swing sets, sensory and musical elements and imaginative play (tractor car rocker).
- A colour scheme that reflects the colours of the Cowara bird.
- Inclusive and accessible play elements.
Works are scheduled to start on Monday, 21st of July and take approximately two weeks to complete (weather permitting). This includes the removal of the old playground and installation of the new equipment including accessible play elements. The playground will be unavailable during this time, access to nearby public toilets and skatepark will remain open. During site works, there will be traffic control in place to prioritise pedestrian safety.
We have received valuable community feedback about the Cowaramup Hall Playground renewal over the past few years helping us to design an inclusive play space for local families. Our particular thanks to the community volunteers who participated in community workshops for your time and efforts.
