With the opportunity to choose who represents your community, all local residents and property owners are encouraged to enrol.

While voting isn’t compulsory for these local elections, a high participation rate is important to ensure the collective view of the whole community is represented.

If you’ve recently moved and lived at your new home for more than a month, you can update your electoral roll details with the Australian Electoral Commission.

Non-resident owners or occupiers of rateable property within the Shire are also entitled to vote. To apply, please go to enrolment eligibility claim.

All electors will be posted a voting package which includes the ballot papers and voting instructions.

To be included on the roll, applications must be received by 4pm Friday 25 August.
