It's show time
It's one of the region’s longest-running events and a favourite day out for locals, and its back this Saturday 7 November for its 97th year!
The Margaret River Agricultural Show is not just a celebration of our local agriculture industry, it showcases regional talent and is a jam-packed day of fun for the whole family.
The Shire is proud to support this much-loved event through our Community Development and Events Grants Program, to shine a spotlight on our region’s agricultural industry and bringing our community together to make memories.
While the rides, entertainment and Retravision Family Fireworks are always a drawcard, there's plenty of agriculture to explore this year. Head to the Agricultural Big Top for dairy delights, livestock, vegetable and egg producers, sheep shearing demonstrations, hands-on activities and plenty of farm animals to meet. It's a great opportunity to discover more about farming, food production and the industries that help shape our region.
There's plenty of entertainment, too, with more than 250 performers taking to multiple stages and spaces across the Showgrounds, showcasing the incredible depth of talent in our region. From circus acts and live music to local dance groups and street entertainment, there's something for everyone.
For the first time, the Show will also feature FREE skateboarding demonstrations and workshops, with Beyond Skateboarding sessions and clinics bringing some extra action to the day.
