Follow the Salt Book launch celebrates local literary talent
The Margaret River Library is proud to host the official launch of Follow the Salt, a new collection of Australian gothic fiction published by Night Parrot Press. The event will take place on Thursday 6 November at 6pm, and will feature local author Annie Horner, one of twelve contributors to the collection.Edited by award-winning writer Donna Mazza, Follow the Salt was born from a unique writing retreat in Dumbleyung, where authors immersed themselves in the Wheatbelt’s haunting landscapes and rich histories. The result is a compelling collection of stories that explore ghosts, memory and the eerie beauty of rural Western Australia.
The launch event is free and open to all. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Annie Horner, as well as contributing writers Aksel Dadswell, Jo Porter, Jodie How and Teresa Wilks, hear about the creative process behind the book and purchase signed copies. Refreshments will be provided.
This event is part of the Shire Libraries’ ongoing commitment to supporting local authors and fostering a vibrant literary community.
