We welcome the State Government’s recent announcement which extends the ability for ancillary dwellings, commonly known as granny flats, to be built on lots less than 350m2.In our Shire, we’ve already exempted granny flats from requiring planning approval, but more can be done to create fit-for-purpose affordable housing.
