Trusted information for fire emergencies
If you live in or are visiting the Shire of Augusta Margaret River, it’s important to know where to get accurate and reliable information during a bushfire emergency.
Emergency WA is the State’s official source for emergency updates. The website provides near-real-time feeds of incidents across Western Australia and uses the Australian Warning System to display information about ongoing emergencies. The most accurate and up-to-date bushfire warnings, fire danger ratings, and total fire bans are always available through Emergency WA.
Visit emergency.wa.gov.au or download the Emergency WA app for alerts on your phone. You can also stay informed by listening to ABC Local Radio on 684 AM, which provides regular updates during bushfire events.
