Leeuwin Biddi trail is open – explore Augusta’s coastline

The Leeuwin Biddi is officially open!

After years of planning and strong community support, the new section from Dead Finish to Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse is ready for people to walk, wheel and ride.

This dual-use path is designed for all ages and abilities, with a mix of fine granite gravel and accessible concrete. It’s a safe, scenic route winding through some of Augusta’s most spectacular coastline.

Around 100 community members joined us on Saturday 6 December to celebrate this milestone at Augusta Boat Harbour.

The Leeuwin Biddi project was proudly supported by the Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure through the WA Bicycle Network Grants program and guided by environmental consultants to protect rare flora and fauna.
