ELECTION NOTICE
Shire of Augusta-Margaret River

The Shire of Augusta-Margaret River is holding an election by postal vote on Saturday, 18 October 2025 to fill vacancies in the offices of Councillors as listed below:District 5 Councillors

• WINTER, Pamela
• BOLAND, Greg
• JANES, Julian
• MUIR, Tracey
• PETTY, Maxine
• FUCCI, Alex
• FORTE, Joe
• BLOXSOME, Mike
• IRELAND, Amanda
Election Packages will be sent to all electors on the local government electoral roll where there is an election in their electorate.
You may hand deliver your postal voting papers, or obtain a replacement package (if the package is not received, or should any papers be missing), during business hours before election day from the following location(s):
Shire of Augusta-Margaret River - Augusta Office, 66 Allnut Terrace, AUGUSTA
• Tuesday to Thursday, 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm
Shire of Augusta-Margaret River - Margaret River Office, 41 Wallcliffe Road, MARGARET RIVER
• Monday to Friday, 9am-4pm
Post your vote early. Completed postal voting packages must reach the Returning Officer by 6.00pm on election day, Saturday, 18 October 2025.
You may also hand deliver your postal voting papers to an electoral officer, or obtain a replacement package (if the package is not received, or should any papers be missing), between 8.00am and 6.00pm on election day at the following location:
Chief Polling Place:
Shire of Augusta-Margaret River Council Chambers, 41 Wallcliffe Road, MARGARET RIVER
The count of votes will commence after 6pm at the Shire of Augusta-Margaret River Council Chambers, 41 Wallcliffe Road, MARGARET RIVER.
Electronic Counting Place:
77 – 89 Kurnall Road, Welshpool WA 6106 may be used as an electronic counting place.
