A Total Fire Ban and Harvest Vehicle Movement Ban have been declared for Thursday, 25 December in the Shire of Augusta Margaret River. More information here.

The Shire of Augusta Margaret River will enter a Prohibited Burning Period from 12.01am Tuesday 23 December 2025.
 
Campfires, firepits and the burning of garden refuse piles are NOT allowed at any time or in any location.

Permits to Burn are cancelled.

As we wrap up the year, we’d like to thank our community for your support and wish you a safe and relaxing festive season.
 
We won't be collecting bins on Christmas Day, but don't worry, we haven't forgotten them. 
  • Thursday collections will happen on Friday
  • Friday collections will happen on Saturday
Normal service resumes Monday 5 January.

We’ll be taking a short break, so some services will have different hours.
