Old Town Jetty (Augusta) Works Complete

The Works team recently completed an upgrade on the Old Town Jetty in Augusta.

Also known as the Ellis Street Jetty, all the old, corroded steelwork on the jetty was replaced with new steelwork by EnviroInfrastructure, ensuring the jetty remains safe for boat users and other recreational users.

It’s just down from the main street and a great spot to go for a fish, look out for marine life and birdlife or launch your kayak.

Local toilets are close by and were recently given a lovely nautical facelift from renowned artist Rebecca Cool, local art group Paint by Numbers and community members. The painting project was supported by the Shire and Regional Arts WA.
