Planned construction works

The Shire’s works crews will be carrying out several important road and drainage projects across the region next week.

Warner Glen Road
Road reconstruction works are progressing well. The team is currently completing cut and fill works in preparation for pavement importation, which will continue throughout next week.
A rock mill is also onsite to grind laterite rock within the formation, which has been inhibiting progress. Rock grinding is expected to be completed by Thursday 17 October.

Vlamm Road
Gravel re-sheeting works commenced on Wednesday 16 October and will continue throughout next week.

Holland Road (off Warner Glen Road)
Drainage renewal and upgrade works are being undertaken in preparation for future road maintenance, intersection upgrades, and sealing.
