Road Reconstruction - Prevelly

Road reconstruction works at the intersection of Mitchell Drive and Narda Ave, Prevelly will begin in early November.

 The scope of works includes drainage upgrade, removal of the roundabout and construction of a raised intersection with on and off ramps along Mitchell Drive and upgrades to the adjacent footpath.
 

The intersection will be closed to traffic and detours will be in place for the duration of the works. Temporary fencing will be in place but we will aim to maintain pedestrian access around the site. The works are anticipated to be completed prior to Christmas (weather permitting).

These works will be carried out in accordance with section 3.50 of the Local Government Act 1995, Part 3 (functions of Local Governments – Closing certain thoroughfares to vehicles).
