Flu season has arrived and getting vaccinated is one of the best ways to protect yourself and those around you.

The annual flu vaccine is safe, quick and widely available across the Shire. Even if you’re generally healthy, the flu can still have a serious impact and spread easily to others.

Flu vaccines are available at:

•    Local GPs
•    Pharmacies (check with your local chemist for availability)

If you have questions or are unsure about the vaccine, speak with your doctor or pharmacist. They’re there to help.

Keeping our community protected and encouraging residents to stay up to date with vaccinations is a priority under the Shire’s Public Health Plan.
