  • New playground installation

Works are scheduled to start in February and take approximately four weeks to complete.
Works include the removal of the existing playground and installation of new equipment including fully accessible play elements.
The playground will be inaccessible during these works, however access to the toilets and showers will remain.
These works are funded by the Margaret River Lion’s Shed and the Shire.

Works to replace the BBQs will run concurrently with the playground replacement.
A new shelter will be installed over the BBQs.
The barbeques will be inaccessible during these works.
Throughout the works, there will be signage in place and the sites will be closed to the public. Please follow signage and do not enter the closed areas.

  • Removal of totem poles

Unfortunately, due to termites taking up residence, creating damage and compromising the structural integrity of the totem poles at Riflebutts, they need to be removed for safety reasons.
Works will begin in the first week of February and take one day to complete.

Should you have further enquiries regarding these works, please contact Rachel Sweeney Coordinator of Technical Services at [email protected] or on (08) 9780 5255.
