We are continuing major road upgrade works on Rosa Brook Road, and bridge upgrade works are set to begin this week on Jindong-Treeton Road.
Jindong–Treeton Road – bridge upgrade worksMajor upgrade works to replace the ageing timber bridge on Jindong–Treeton Road will begin in early March, with an eight week full road closure between Osmington Road and Treeton Road starting Monday 9 March.
The project will involve removing the timber bridge and installing a new concrete culvert, providing a safer, longer lasting structure capable of managing high water flows during heavy rainfall. Works will also include resurfacing the road approaches, installing extended guard rails, widening the bridge zone and lifting the road level slightly to improve overall safety.
Traffic changes
• Full closure from Osmington Rd to Treeton Rd from 9 March until completion.
• Local access will be maintained for residents and businesses within the closure area.
• Semini Custom Feeds will remain open and accessible.
• Heavy vehicles will be detoured via Osmington Road (signage in place).
This project is fully funded through the Federal Government’s Roads to Recovery Program.
Rosa Brook Road – culvert renewals and road reconstruction (Stage 2 continues)
Stage 2 of the Rosa Brook upgrade project continues, with works happening under a full road closure between 7am–6pm, Monday to Friday. The closure affects the section between Jindong Treeton Road and Darnell Road. Outside of these hours, the road will reopen to traffic.
The project includes renewal of culverts and table drains, widening of the road formation, and importing new pavement material to strengthen the road structure.
The full closure is expected to continue until the end of this week, after which traffic management will transition to stop and go controls for sealing and final works.

• Traffic controllers will guide vehicles through the area.
• Property access will remain available at all times for local residents.
• Short delays or minor detours may be required.
