Free Bus to the Beach for All!

The Shire is bringing you a Free Community Beach Bus to make your summer beach days easier than ever. 

When?
Starting 1 January 2025
From 8am to 12.30pm – hop on and off as you please! 

Where?
The Free Beach Bus will take you from the centre of town bus stop on Charles West Ave (first bus leaves town at 8am) to our gorgeous beach by The White Elephant Café (last bus leaves beach at 12.30pm)

Why ride?
It’s FREE!
No parking hassles – just hop on and enjoy!
Eco-friendly – leave the car at home and reduce traffic 

Perfect for everyone – whether you're a family, a senior, or just looking to relax by the sea, the Free Beach Bus is for you!

No bookings required – just show up at the pick-up point and hop on!

What you can bring – Surfboards and boogie boards but NO bikes or fishing rods.

Let’s make this summer stress-free and full of beach fun. See you on the bus! 

Community Beach Bus Timetable 

Town pick up / drop off:
Bus Stop Charles West Ave 
8am (first bus from town) - 9am - 10am - 11am - 12pm

Beach pick up / drop off:
The White Elephant Café 
8.30am - 9.30am - 10.30am - 11.30am - 12.30pm (last bus from the beach)
