Volunteers plant 320 native seedlings in Gracetown

Recently, a group of committed community volunteers came together in Gracetown’s coastal foreshore reserve to plant 320 native seedlings.

Despite the cold, wet and windy weather, everyone pitched in with enthusiasm and made a real impact.

This planting project will help protect the coastal dunes and support local wildlife by improving habitat and plant diversity. The seedlings were kindly supplied by the Margaret River Community Nursery and were all grown from seeds collected in the local area

A big thank you to everyone who took part and helped care for our coast. If you would like to be involved in future community planting days, please email [email protected] for more information.
