The neighbours of Rendall Close Weir established this group in order to protect the local community interests of the weir precinct.
The aim of this group is to protect, maintain and enhance the natural aesthetic of the area, retaining the natural environment with minimal disturbance or development, for the enjoyment and use primarily of the local community and neighbouring residents.
The resident group contributes to conservation and maintenance work at the Rendall Close Weir by participating in regular volunteer workdays.
