CinefestOZ turns 20!
CinefestOZ Film Festival will return for its 20th year in 2027 and the Shire of Augusta Margaret River is proud to host and support this incredible celebration of Australian films and storytelling!
As Australia's largest festival dedicated exclusively to Australian screen stories, it plays a vital role in inspiring the next generation of storytellers, filmmakers, and artists. But it’s about more than just what’s on screen.
Think red carpets, filmmaker Q&As, live music, after-parties, and the screenings of the finalists for the prestigious CinefestOZ Film Prize. And if that’s not enough, the festival includes Deadly Days, showcasing Aboriginal filmmakers, the Cinesnaps Student Competition, the CinefestOZ Short Film Awards plus free community screenings.
