Bin Collection Days - 2020/21 Resource Recovery Guide

The 2020/21 Resource Recovery Guide is your handy guide to which bin is collected each week.

  • Your FOGO bin with the lime green lid is collected every week.
  • The calendar below shows alternating weeks of landfill (red lid) and recycling (yellow lid) bin collections.

Click on the image below to download a printable pdf or simply put a reoccuring reminder in your phone. Please note there are no bin collections on Good Friday, Christmas Day or New Years Day.

Bin Placement

To assist us in servicing your bins please:

  • Place your bins on the kerbside by 6am on the day of collection.
  • Place bins near to the kerb with handles facing towards your property.
  • Place bins at least 50cm apart from each other and 1m from trees or other obstructions to allow access for the waste truck arm.
  • Don’t overfill your bin as the trucks cannot lift bins weighing over 70kg.
  • Ensure your bin lids are closed so your waste does not blow away.
  • Do not place hot ash, liquids, oil, paint or solvents in your bins as they can damage bins, trucks and the environment.
  • Once emptied, please return bins to your property as soon as you can.

Missed Bin Collections

If your bin collection has been missed, please contacted the Shire’s kerbside collection contractor Cleanaway on 08 9726 0811.
