About the opportunity

We’re looking for a Business Analyst to help improve how the Shire uses data and technology to deliver efficient, modern services to our community.

You’ll focus on enhancing data quality, optimising system integration, and driving continuous improvement across the organisation. Working closely with ICT and business teams, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our information and systems are ready to support the Shire’s ERP migration while providing support and continued improvement as modules go live.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance the quality, accuracy, and integrity of organisational data.
  • Support integration and interoperability between the ERP and other key business systems.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve data models, reports, and dashboards to meet operational and strategic needs.
  • Provide support, troubleshooting, and guidance for ERP users and processes throughout the rollout and adoption of the ERP system.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify and implement system and data improvements that enhance business efficiency.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimise ERP utilisation and related business processes.
  • Promote best practices in data governance, documentation, and reporting.

What You’ll Bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Improvement, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in business systems support, data management, and system integration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data insights.
  • Experience supporting enterprise systems, including reporting, data quality, and user support.
  • Understanding of database concepts, APIs, and integration principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on optimising processes and systems to achieve better outcomes.


Details

  • Continuing, Full-Time employment (76 hours/fortnight)
  • Level 7 ($95,548 - $101,397 per annum) IA 2025-26 rate
